The Association Chooses 2011-2012 Project: During the 2011 Annual meeting, it was decided by vote, that The Association would assist the Council on updating the camping promotions video. The past video is now outdated due to the improvements in both camp facilities and camp program. The filming has already started and the new video will be in HD.
History Trail: The History Committee has accomplished a milestone by placing the first markers on the Camp Wilderness History Trail. During Alumni Reunion Week, alum painted the markers and labeled them with their perspective letter. The history trail books can be checked out at the Black Building. Next time you are at camp, take a walk through history. The committee is actively seeking historical items from camp and is always welcoming historic pictures and people interested in contributing.
Interviews Continue: Many of us have memories about our experiences at camp. Over the years, we have been trying to interview people who worked at camp through the decades. The interviews will be posted on our AV page. We recently interviewed David Quam, who worked at Wabaunaquat. Look for the interview to be posted in the near future.
